Child and Adolescent Therapy

We value and care for our clients. We believe you already have all you need to be successful within you. Our therapists are proud to provide you with quality and affordable mental health counseling.

We provide consultation, assessments, and psychotherapy to children, adolescents, and their families.  We provide an initial assessment to determine the client’s individual needs. Goals for therapy may be specific (change in behavior, improved relations with friends or family), or more general (less anxiety, better self-esteem). The treatment plan will be based on such things as the child’s current problems, history, level of development, ability to cooperate with treatment, and what interventions are most likely to help with the presenting concerns.

How therapy can help

A number of benefits are available from those participating in therapy. Therapists can provide support, problem-solving skills, and enhanced coping strategies for issues such as depression, anxiety, relationship troubles, unresolved childhood issues, grief, stress management, body image issues and addiction. Many people also find that counselors can be a tremendous asset to managing personal growth, interpersonal relationships, family concerns, marriage issues, and the hassles of daily life.
